Since I was first able to write, and my deep thoughts were a boring monologue on how my day was, I’ve kept journals of one type or another.
During my teen years, I kept very thorough and detailed journals of my favorite things. It was important to me to document what I loved so that I could remember them.
As a teenager, a lot of my likes were dark. I loved country music, black and white photographs, black makeup, piano… My life felt pretty black and white. I had a lot of pain, and I struggled to find who I was.
Without Christ, life seemed so hopeless.
Since becoming a Christian and a mom, I have changed a lot. I have learned to embrace my femininity and I strive to be classy though I am still country at heart.
I have morphed from a complicated and cute, chunky caterpillar to a more intricate and delicate butterfly.
Okay, I know you have a puzzled look, did I lose you? I’ll leave you there, and without further ado, here is a list of -
